Why do women like Arnav Singh Raizada?

Apart from Barun Sobti's good looks and terrific acting, what is it really that drives women, from all over the world, gaga over the character- Arnav Singh Raizada? I, myself, am a big-time fan of Arnav and sure as hell would exchange anything to have him in my life. I dint have to think much about the qualities which attract us (fans) towards him. Therefore, below are the points which have made us fall head over heels in love with this guy.

- His Personality : when you look at Arnav, all suited and booted, obviously a good impression of him is formed. Rich, sophisticated, successful, famous businessman are some of those qualities that a woman can never say no to.

- His reseved/ closed book nature : ASR puts on a tough exterior. There is a mystery that surrounds him. This reserved nature and uncertainty about him only makes us more curious and increases our interest in him.

- He is, sure as hell, confidant about himself. He is THE ASR- a business tycoon. He is never wrong and nothing is impossible for him. He gets what he wants, ALWAYS! He actually has everything. Need i say more?

- He loves his family. An excellent brother, i must add. He doesnt express his love for them openly and is not often seen having fun with them BUT he is always there when anyone needs help or advise about whatever it may be.

- He is a no-nonsense person. Straightforward, no dilly dallying, straight to the point policy he follows. He is afraid of nothing/ no one.

- He does generous deeds without taking credit or coming into limelight.

- He is not afraid to change and he does not expect or i can say want people to change for him or his sake.

- One very important reason why we love this character so much is because of Barun Sobti's priceless expressions and awesome dialogues delivery. He is just so charming, he bounces off the screen. His famous ' What the' is icing on the cake. Glaring, staring, scowling, smirking- every look of his is adorable.

- other men get dwarfed in the presence of ASR.

- He knows how to woo a woman. His chemistry with khushi and his love for her is terrific.

- He is good at heart. He feels guilty for his actions and tries desperately to redeem himself.

- His troubled past is also one of the reasons which makes us wanna wipe that pained look off his face and hug him and tell him everything is gonna be alright.

- ASR has many flaws. He is impulsive, imposes authority on everyone, bossy, super rude, has cold attitude and the list goes on. But his flaws if nothing make him more attractive and pull us even more closer to him.

- Lastly, i would like to add that somehow in someway i find him a little bit similar to Mr. Darcy. But it is totally my point of view.

Arnav Singh Raizada is a man who goes from the most hated to the most desired by doing the unthinkable, like following religious rituals for khushi and other things, all the while sticking to the principles of his character. Kudos to the writers of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? for creating such an excellent character.It is a total delight to watch him on screen.
